DIOR (MEN SS 2020): STREETSTYLE AND SHOW

I went in front of the Dior show to take some streetstyle pictures. I think it is really inspiring to discover what the models as well as the attendants were wearing.
First, the défilé took place at Institut du Monde Arabe, a cultural center near the Seine. The location was crowded: there were a lot of photographers and people, here for the famous actors invited. Inside, as we can see in the pictures, the venue was all pink. The models were walking on pink sand, around the letters D,I,O and R, a work of the American artist Daniel Arsham.
The collection was classical and futuristic at the same time.
On the one hand, you have classical looks with tailored suits with a twist (scarfs were added to give a wintery vibe). On the other hand, you have this huge pink hood. Another transparent shoes has been seen, making it the « Dior trend » of the summer. Finally, we recognize the « newspaper » print from the early Galliano times.
A high-tech collection
Continuing in the same line, as he did in the beginning of the year while he was in Tokyo, Kim Jones show us he can perfectly balance between classicism and modernity. Technology completes fashion: A 3D version of bags should be released soon.
